About Blissfully Chaotic

Nathan and MommyBeing a mommy is a very rewarding, fullfilling, and CHAOTIC job – but somebody has to do it.  So where is the bliss among all of this chaos? Blissfully Chaotic will show you.

But first, a little more about the Blissfully Chaotic Mommy-Founder. I am a work-at-home mommy to one vibrant little guy, who is three. My husband works as a Small Engine Technician about 60 miles from our home.  My husband and I met in high school at the very young ages of 14 (myself) and 17 (hubby).  It was “infactuation at first sight” but eventually grew into much, much more during the four years of high school dating that led to marriage.

During the last five years of our marriage, I bounced from one dead-end job to another. My poor baby was stuck in daycare from the time he was 5 months old until he was almost a year and a half.  In my quest to bring him home from daycare, I dove into the massive world of work-at-home opportunities (or in most cases scams).

One by one, I failed miserably. Not only did my pocketbook suffer, but my ego, self esteem, and confidence took a nose dive into a bottom-less pit. I thought to myself on many occassions that there just wasn’t anything out there that I could work from home with successfully. Was I good at anything? During my journey down this road I found that I was a horrible sales woman, a flunky survey taker and email reader, a great cook that couldn’t sell cookware, a green momma unable to persuade others to go-green, and a ton more of failures we won’t even discuss.

In late 2007, just on the brink of tossing in the towel, I finally got my break. I found a company while searching online, that would allow me to work at home dealing with a SERVICE. No Products. No Parties. No Inventory. Woo hoo! Boy was I excited! After enrolling, I jumped in and started working full swing around my family and full time job. Now, a year and a half  and 5 promotions later, I am sitting at the top management level of the company AND a full time stay at home mom.

This is where Blissfully Chaotic comes back into the picture. While I absolutely LOVE my business, I decided to venture out into the world of blogging. After just a short internet search, I found a enormous amount of mommy blogs all of the net. I thought to myself this is really popular and I love to write, so why not give it a shot!

So here I am. Several hours later, making my first Blissfully Chaotic blog post for the world to read!

It is really an exciting feeling – a whole new portion of the internet is unfolding before my eyes and like I was a year and a half ago with my business, I am ready to dive full swing into blogging!

So with that said, the last thing I should tell you is that you definately should check back often. I will be updating and blogging often, as well as doing a give-away here and there (we all love FREE stuff)!

Until next time…
